Dr. David Cash responds on the Book of Revelation and Israel

You are VERY correct in your assumption that fundamentalist Christians believe every word of the Bible. However, the Bible does not teach eternal damnation for lack of giving or tithing.

What Falwell teaches from the Bible
A-is that God expects Christians to tithe, but they cannot lose their salvation for not doing so.
B-He also teaches that nothing can cause you to lose your salvation once you are saved (that is Biblical also)
C-He also teaches that Ephesians 2:8-9 is true . (that you are simply saved by grace and NOT works)
D-He also teaches that before the anti-christ can arrive or even before Armageddon or any of the Biblical accounts of attacks on Jerusalem THAT THE CHURCH WILL BE RAPTURED FROM THE EARTH AND DISAPPEAR FIRST!
That would leave the church powerless to manipulate anything as they will no longer even be here. Falwell is a premillenialist and a Pretribulationist

If he is a true fundamentalist, then he could not possibly be concerned with Armageddon or the attack on Jerusalem.

He was a former friend of Menahem Begin and Anwar Sadat for that matter. Indeed, when Begin bombed that Iraqi nuclear plant, He called Falwell before he called the President!
