I went to pick up the notes my grandfather Gustav Pontén wrote. He was very
found of searching for relatives and history in general. He was a priest in
Söderåkra.Anyway, he writes the following in his book.
Bengt Person bought Brogården 1699. His son Johan Bengtsson became the owner
in 1713. (Johan and Jan is equivalent). He was born 1694 and died 1751. His
wife was Margareta Johansdotter (b 1694, d 1751).
They had six children (that became grown up). The daughters Britta, Elin and
Kerstin were all married in the area and had a lot of children. Elins
daughter Sara is mentioned.
The son Anders (b 1732, d 1808) kept the farm and the "restaurant" while the
sons Bengt (b 1716, d 1809) and Petrus (b 1741) both adopted the name
