not far from Kirkcolm.Also given that ages were rounded down to the nearest 5 years the age could
be approximate. In my family tree ages tended to be not very accurate with
up to three different ages for my GGrandfather on records held being 1830,
1833, 1837.
With names in families I have an example today where two of my uncles both
named their eldest son after their oldest brother. So they are roughly the
same age, same name, both born in Kirkcolm with same grandparents but
