Princess Di didn't perish instantly, bodyguard says

Princess Diana's bodyguard, Trevor Rees-Jones, who survived the crash that killed Diana, is shown in this Friday Dec. 19, 1997 photo. Diana was conscious and talking immediately after the Paris car crash that killed her and Dodi Fayed, says Rees-Jones in an interview published Monday, March 2.

Trevor Rees-Jones says that he remembers Princess Diana telling the driver to speed up and go faster.
